    Schneider's Form

I am afraid this little guy is making some very poor decisions during a game. Interesting to note last night that he seemed to switch to HBF and got a couple of crucial kicks. His blasting in front of goal has been unjudicious so far this season and with a fit bench I think a few words on the Roos phone is called for!

Although a goal sneak type of player, discipline must still be shown in tight games to ensure you get over the line. Front and square is better than a very low percentage crack at goal.

    Adam....a little more thought please.

I find those words a little harsh. He "arrived" on the scene so quickly and plays with such confidence that I think we tend to forget how much of a babe he is in football terms. He does make ordinary decisions at times but so do lots of other players, especially last night. Williams blasts away at the goals on occasion when he should be looking to pass off too.

I thought the pressure skills - tackling and general harassing of the player in possession - of Schneider were pretty good last night and one of the reasons we escaped from gaol.

I don't think I am being defensive. IMO his ordinary decision making is no more pronounced than that of some far more seasoned team mates. We can always agree to disagree.

So was his decision making in front of goal good then?

The Cat were there last night tpo play footy - I feel that some of the Swan thought that if they turn up that the game was ours.

The CATS intensity didn't give the Swans time to make informed decisions.

We were lucky to get away with a win.

Adam was only one of the players that was harrased and chased as soon as they got the ball.

A lesson learnt - NO EASY GAMES!!!

I can think of at least two occasions last night when Schneider SHOULD have had a ping instead of chipping it short. Just lack of experience in which option to take. Will learn.

his kicking accuracy hasnt been great so far this year, but I've really been impressed with his 1%ers, like slapping the ball off the deck towards a team-mate that has lead to a goal, think he has done this at least once in each of his games so far.

Not taking on the responsibility to have a shot at goal was like a disease last night.

Not good to see, but hopefully not a trend

                    Let's not get hasty here!

He came back from injury last week. Roos has said he is easing him into the game because he is such a valuable player.

I will say that he hasn't been that outstanding or best on field for the past two weeks, but give him a chance! Did anyone see his kick from the Swans defensive (45m line) to Hall on our forward line? The Ball hit Bazza right on his chest- terrific kick.

I think some of you are missing his 1%ers.

At one stage during the 4th quarter Adam was surrounded by 3 Cats players and he went after each of them one at a time. He doesn't give the ball up without a fight.... more power to him!

Schnides has had a hammie for weeks. He came back last week and was clearly under done. This week he took a while to get into it but, was inspirational in the last quarter when he was entitled to fall in a heap.

Look out from now on, and I hope he plays more in the midfield from now because a couple of so called specialist midfielders (Bolton and Fosdike) really struggled under the constant pressure last night. When he went to the midfield he and Kirk really gave us a spark.
