Similarities with Melbourne game last year

Does last night's game remind anyone of the game againts the Demons when we came back kicking 10(?) in the last quarter. Not that we played all that well even in the last quarter last night, but just the turn around. Plus comments from Roos about just telling he boys to go out and have a crack in the last quarter with nothing to lose.

    No. Not in the slightest.

Our standing in the scheme of things 12 months ago is wildly different to our position today.

The only similarity is that we came from behind to win.

        Not at all...
Althought we scraped home, it was more reminiscent, to me at least, of a game against Freo at the SCG a couple of years ago, and another against the boozers. What worries me is our continuing trait to go whole quarters without scoring a goal, which in my opinion in modern-day football is both unexplainable and inexcusable.
"Davis...Davis has kicked 2...he snaps from 40...dont tell me, dont tell me, hes kicked a goal....unbelievable stuff from Nick Davis, can you believe this, he's kicked 3 final quarter goals and Swans are within 3 points..."

yes, the game never really rose to great heights. It was more reminiscent of that freo game, which certainly would have to be one of the worst games i have ever seen.
But i think cresswell's coaching and inside info made it difficult for us to open up the game.

          good onya cressa...grrrr...
