Agreed. Grant is the one who concerns me the most. I reckon Harvey is the best of those three but Crouch should be a good match for him. Simpson gets a lot of the ball but his disposal lets him down quite often, meaning he doesn't quite have the impact on games he should. The added pressure of having Kirk shadow him should do the trick.

Grant is the one I don't see as obvious a match for. He's not particularly quick but can turn a game with just a few disposals. I reckon Benny M might get the job - he's capable of concentrating on such a task for the whole game and can match Grant for size and speed.

Rawlings seems to be their number one tagger at the moment so he will probably be given the job on Willo. I wonder if he has the speed to keep up, though admittedly he's not a player I know much about.

Who do the Roos have who can run with Goodes? McKernan and Porter certainly can't.

Leigh Brown is being touted as the Goodes match up, but realistically it is almost impossible to put one player on him. Goodesy is just to athletic and aerobically capable for one player. suspect a combination of a few, maybe even Petrie

One stellar season at North first time around is the extent of his achievement. He goes missing for long periods in games and for a bloke his size is as soft as @@@@ .
He played okay for Carlton in 2002, but he has really struggled to regain his form of the mid-1990s, and not helped by injuries. I think he has underperformed so far this year and North fans are not that impressed with him. Still, he is capable of occasionally being dangerous.

Yep - these guys are the key to the 'Roos, and Stevens to some extent too. But they do have other players capable of having some impact - Wells, Petrie, Jones, Brown. Note that Grant didn't play against us last year.

They have a couple of good taggers in Rawlings and Firrito, who can also get a bit of the ball, including clearances.

The fitness of Colbert will be pretty critical too. I've never really noticed that he has been a standout defender, just okay, but seems to be playing really well this year.

I assume they will go with Brown on Goodes for some time anyway. Hopefully we get a big one from Goodesy this week as he has not been particularly flash the past couple.
