Has Bally got the yips?

The miss in Brisbane at any other point in the game would be gone and forgotten. However given it's importance to the contest it's been blown large by the media and supporters.

Bally missed some very very gettable goals on Saturday night.

What are the thoughts out there? Does Bally of a diagnosable case of the yips or just not got his eye in yet?

I have actually decided that it is my fault for watching him. Next time I will cover my eyes. Problem solved

He will be fine. He must have been dying on the inside though Sat night!

I said that he would get the second attempt. Perhaps it is a compounding problem - we all want and expect him to get these goals. I sould have kept my mouth shut!

I feel that if I had worn my lucky sox it would have been a better game and he would have kicked the goal..

yep, hes got the yips. I bet hes praying that his next shot on goal is from the goal square, no angle..

I promise to focus our attention on his next goal attempt and get it through.

My gf and I can normally turn 1 or 2 dead-cert opposition goals into behinds and are normally good for a tough goal or two for us. I'll put all our efforts into Bally (regardless of difficulty level) next weekend!

In his mind yes, by the looks of things.

I just got back from watching the lads train this afternoon and Ball spent a large part of the session practising his goal kicking on his own, with the assistance of one of the coaches - could have been Longmire but he was wearing a cap so I wasn't too sure.

Will try to post a training report on the site later this evening.
