Seeing the Swans v Fremantle game

For first time I will be seeing a Swans game interstate and visiting Perth as well (for the Sydney vs Fremantle game @ Subiaco). So any recomendations for a good hotel.

I have been leaving my hotel bookings ?till a few days before I arrive in a city lately and I have booked through some of the ?last minute? reservation sites on the net. The rates on offer are normally FAR better than those available through travel agents/airlines/direct booking. The properties offered are normally 4 ? 5 star; we recently stayed in a 2 bedroom suite at the Como in Melbourne for $160 per night incl. brekkys (normally around $450), I normally pay around $100 p/n for a normal room in a 4 star central Melbourne/Adelaide hotel; you should be able to get a GOOD Perth hotel for between $70 and $100 p/n. When I go to Perth I prefer to stay near the beach; Scarborough or Observation City, you might prefer a more central/city location.

I normally book through lastminute and I have also used wotif on occasions. Check out what hotel deals that they currently have for Perth and you will get a fair idea of what is normally available. Perth's a GREAT city, I'm sure you'll enjoy the place; even better if we win the game!

Good chance I will be at the Dorkers game too.

When I can't stay at my Mums place I usually go to
the "Langley" on the Cnr of Adelaide Tce and Hill St
opposite the Sheraton.

Prices aren't too bad.

Apart from the money side , a hotel near a railway line would be good to catch a train to Subi .Depends also on your agenda .Fremantle is really nice .Perth is central ,Scarborough is popular (especially sommertime)
give it to the game
