I think one of the most important stats for LRT when you look at his stats sheet is Date of Birth: 8 September 1983
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

I wonder how much of this attention on LRT is simply because he's so noticeable like, um, Saddo. Others say they don't even notice Ben or Fossie as they control an entire game but if the ball goes near one of the more notable players it's very clear who it is. Has anyone ever confused Bazza for another player?? IF you listed the instantly recognisable players (Pebbles is another) I think you'd find a close correlation with the criticism they receive. The only exception I can think of is the Captain because Kirk is so hard to fault.

So LRT get a haircut and a mouthguard that doesn't look like Jaws and we'll notice your willingness and skill instead of your errors.

And did anyone notice Goodes' new mouthguard with the Swans logo on it? Let's get Bazza one that looks like metal teeth and he'll have the whole forward 50 to himself.

LRT is a project player who is good enough to squeeze into the team when we need an extra tall.
I have to admit I am a fan of his because of his speed and athleticism. His kicking and handpassing are not up to scratch but that will improve since he has hardly played.
Maybe we could entice George Stone back to work on his skills like he did with Tadgh.

I read that he is being groomed to be a CHB but I like him as a half forward flanker/CHF.He could be the leading option/link man up the field and allow Barry to take more marks within kicking distance.Just a thought.

My view is Rogers does not have half of the talent LRT has. Rogers might be a decent average KPP but LRT has much more potential.

LRT has not played the game that long anyway. Key positions take long to develop. Doyle in the first few games looked very un-coordinate to me. However that is expected of some one so tall and young.

Give LRT time and confidence and he will repay us handsomely. Probably 200+ game genuine KP player. Something that apart from him, we have very little in our list.
