Goodes, goal of the week and year

Goodes Goal in the second quarter was a gem, he smoothered a kangaroos kick, hall marked the ball, passed it to goodes, kicked it to schnieder, dropped it, hit it forward, goodes picks it up, and swirls it around for a great goal, a freakish goal from nowhere. anyone agree.

GOW or GOY, it was a sensational effort, and as casual as you like!

Showed just why Goodesy is such a brilliant player - has the speed and endurance of smaller players, can pick up balls clean as you like around his toes, yet has the height of KPP players. All of these came out with this effort and it will take something special to beat it for GOTY.

      I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

agree that this was the GOTY so far...its not often a guy gets 3 kicks, a smother and a goal in one piece of play

and whilst on the topic...did anyone see the pure piece of class that was jarrad mcveigh in the 3rd quarter which ended up with him getting the ball to fozzy (i think) and a kick to goodes for his other goal

he turned on a 5 cent piece, not once but twice....if it was an olympic dive it would be been a double twist, degree of difficulty 3.6
