    Manauka mishchief

How cool was the game today? Came straight from the game at Manuka and watched the replay. Yey!

This is for the cheer squad, and Norris Lurker who recognised me and invited me to come and sit with the cheer squad. I was really stoked! Hello to Destructive, Silent Lurker, Guy who blessed me with cheer squad flag who used to run with St Kilda, and Emma.

And God bless the young lady who kicked the footy that hit me in the head. I'm so proud!!!

And a big Hi to the members who was there that I didn't meet. Was fantastic fun, and want to learn all your songs, particularly the one about the morgue.

A beautiful day was capped off with a win. Anyone who comes to Canberra think about saying hi!

    Go the the Cheeer Squad!!!

Cheer, Cheer the Red and the White!!!

Er, that was me by the way Lou. But not to matter. It must have felt wonderful as somebody who probably watches 1-2 Swans matches live per season to experience such a great win. It felt great to me as a week-in week-out regular too.

It was an awesome but tiring day. Next year I might stay overnight on the Saturday so that I can combine the footy with a nice weekend in the ACT. The 5am wake-up call, parching sun, dry air, and 7 hours of travel do tend to take a bit of the the sheen off the buzzing feeling you normally feel after such a win.

Hope you get better Gemma. (That's Swansrock4eva to you Lou).

PS:- Charlie, your sister was sitting in the row behind me next to Seth, the Swans of death.

          Hey all!

Lou - sorry I didn't get to say hi - as the bus-trippers will tell you, I managed to get myself pretty sick and sorry, which then answers to Jules - sadly, I've managed to score a week off uni because i've picked up about 3 or 4 different things and my doctor has told me I'm not allowed anywhere near uni for at least a week :S

But hey it was a good win, so that at least was worth it. Plus the looks we got from the Roos bus when we were driving off- PRICELESS!

Dear JF - Julian? I do apologise for my confusion, please forgive!

Have got great photos of you and others, and not having a scanner, will get you copies so I can send them snail mail to you. Can you let me know where to send them for you? Maybe you can email me you postal address to my home email if you don't want it on the website. It's [email protected].

The Cheer Squad is SO my natural home!!! In the 4th quarter I was sitting on steps behind all these spunky young things dressed in Swans uniform, including matching sunnies, sitting on the steps. After me having a yell, some tosser in North gear screamed at me to "sit down and shut up".

Of course I stood up and yelled "Come here and say that, I dare ya!!!!" After all the spunkies eyes swivelled towards me, there was no peep from this man. Pity, I was revved up for a go!!!! It's amazing how people will scream at a tiny little noisy supporter, but not follow through when they are invited!!! Tosser!! Could have trashed him with my brainy mouth in a second. They never expect you to take them on.

Reminds me of when my husband held me back from a couple of journo's in 95....hanging onto my legs as I went these arrogant buggers slagging off Swans fans that were sitting behind us.

Emma, tis okay, been there too many times to count. So much so that my bosses were convinced I'd be late and hung over for work when they found out how much we had won by. Did a good job of keeping it together

Shots of the warm down room a great too, but they are digital, so will try to send them somewhere. Too many cute red bums warming down is never enough, that's what I reckon
