mmm I saw that on bigfooty.
So LRT on Miller.
James on Neitz.
Bolton on Holland.
I don't like this, I see LRT on Miller as pretty even but if Neitz or Holland get on top of their quite smaller opponents we don't have much back-up on the park.
Rogers?
Is quite quick, strong and tall enough to take either Neitz or Holland.
Though if our midfield takes over like last week, then we won't have much worries.Comment

Baker is the one who should have appealed. I thought the Robertson hit was just as bad, and worth 4.Pay peanuts get monkeysComment

As always, it'll come down to the midfields. If we are murdering them out of the middle, it doesn't matter HOW good Neitz is - all his opponent has to do is break even.
177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....

If I remember correctly, since Roos has been coaching Neitz has not kicked a bag against us. Cuts off the supply and drops a player back into his path.
Good test for Heath.Comment

A first gamer playing on David Neitz? Talk about a baptism of fire!Originally posted by Bleed Red Blood

We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his timeComment

Neitz kicked 6.1 (in the first 3 qtrs) in the first game last year, but only 2.2 in the second game, and 3.1 when we killed them the previous year.
Melbourne have a decent enough backline - Nicholson, Rivers, Bizzell.
Magic has killed them the last three times we have played - 12 goals, and Davis 6 in the two games last year.
Their forward line is potentially quite good, with Neitz, Holland and Davey. We'll need to play a good team defence, as individually our backmen might struggle, and hope our midfield places a lot of pressure on Melbourne.
Their midfield/half back line are also not bad - Johnstone (when he can be bothered), Green, Bruce, Brown, Yze, Wheatley, McDonald.
Our midfield is going okay and I think if we can at least break even there we should win.
I watched much of the Melb/Port game and thought it was a very ordinary game of football. Melb have only beaten Richmond, W Bulldogs and an undermanned Port at the 'G, so if we play a hard, high-pressure team game, we should win this well, and bring another team crashing back down to earth.Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.
