Televised Live Against the Gate

Having seen the vitriol on a number of threads concerning crowds / memberships / TV coverage etc, can I just point out that every Swans home game is also televised live in Sydney against the gate.

Isn't this unique among the 16 clubs? Doesn't that put our attendances, and support in general, in a different light?

Brisbane too are up against the gate.

But it is a must in this market. Gotta keep hammering away at the great unwashed

yep, definitely something that is always in the back of my mind. And our crowds really are not that bad when you take it into consideration, especially the crowd at the Freo game when it looked like it was going to be a very wet day.

But as Bart pointed out it is also something that really needs to be done for development of the game in Sydney...
