RWO Footy Match - UPDATE - MARCH 6TH!

Here are the updated details regarding the match.
Please take note of a couple of chages. The TIME has changed because of a concert, and there is now 4 quarters of 10 minutes rather than 2 halves of 20 minutes.

    Read below.

    REDANDWHITEONLINE FOOTY MATCH
    (in conjunction with Bigfooty).

    TIME: 4:00pm
DATE: 22nd March 2003 (Prior to the start of the Trivia Night).
WHERE: Bus Stop Oval, outside the SCG.

At the moment I need names of people that are going, so I am able to put you all into teams.

One team will be the KELLY ALL-ROUNDERS
The other team will be the LACK OF SKILTONS

I will form the teams, once I get names to put into the teams. Players will be made up of posters from RedandWhiteOnline and some Sydney based Posters on Bigfooty.

The game will consist of 4 10 minute quarters, with a 15 minute half time interval and 10 minute quarter time breaks.

Prior to and before the match kick to kick will be in process as usual. It is a fun game so guys and girls are welcome and encouraged to participate.
(I may be a little bit competitive though, I will try not to hog the footy)

Any questions ask on this thread, or PM me.

When the time comes near (mid march), I will post the two sides.

We need more numbers. The current participants are below.

I can't make any guarantees on me being there. I made a mistake in my earlier commitment, it is actually Day 1 of our semi-final (not final as earlier stated) for cricket, but we are not certain of being there yet (have to see what happens in the final round). Will keep you updated as to whether I will be there.

      I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

        Possible problem.

Sydney will be playing Richmond (in the last trial game of the pre-season) at the SCG, Saturday 22nd March. Don't know the time yet.

Be dark about 7pm then from memory.

In memory of my little Staffy - Dicey, 17.06.2005 to 1.12.2011- I'll miss you mate.

Put me down as a definite starter. I may be able to bring some more footabll enthusiasts along, but I'm waiting for them to get back to me.
It's very hard to live in a studio apartment in San Jose with a man who's learning to play violin. That's what she told the police when she handed them the empty revolver.

.....and you can add a mate of mine, John. Sadly, he is a Richmond supporter but I think he understands the fundamentals of the code.

We really need more. 12 a side would be ideal, but we can work with 10 a side like that.

Alterations can be made to the sides if need be ...

The reason for the White shirts for Skilton all rounders and the red shirts for the Kelly all rounds is :

Skilton and Round played for the Swans in predominately White guernseys.

Kelly played for hte Swans in a prodominately Red Guernsey

Will there be many ladies participating in the RWO match? I see Gem's name in there, but most of the other names aren't gender specific.

Also any youngsters involved, ie 16 years or less?

Gem as far as I know is the only female that has shown interest in the match. So she will be the only one participating. Chances are she won't be able to play a whole match as she has to set up the trivia night!

2nd Half belongs to the boys

There is no one under 16 involve to my knowledge...
