Sydney Swans super-boot Nick Davis completed Friday?s training run without any complications ensuring he is a certain starter for the round five clash against Melbourne at Telstra Stadium.

Davis booted four straight against the Brisbane Lions at the Gabba in the opening round before limping off with a strained right hip flexor muscle midway through the second term.

After missing three weeks the 24-year-old is just happy to be back.

?Going through pre-season I didn?t intend to have a break so early but I?m nice and fresh and the leg is fine so I am looking forward to Saturday night,? Davis said after the final training session prior to the Anzac Day eve match.

?If I didn?t start (the season) so well I wouldn?t be so disappointed, but to do the full pre-season and start so well, I am just looking forward to hopefully continuing on where I left off.?

The former Magpie hopes this means kicking another four goals in the first half but not finishing the match as a spectator.

He joins an in-form forward line consisting of Barry Hall, Adam Goodes, Adam Schneider, Ryan O?Keefe and Jason Saddington.

?Saddo? put on four in Sydney?s 51-point win over the Kangaroos last week but Davis will ensure he knows the way the forward line functions.

?Jason fitted in really well last week, but he just lives around the corner from me so I might go around there tonight and just tell him what goes on in the forward line,? Davis joked.

Coach Paul Roos believes his forwards complement each other and Davis? inclusion will only make them more dangerous.

However, Roos remains one player short of starting with his first choice forward line as Michael O?Loughlin continues to recover from nerve pain in his right hamstring.
