We trust you've enjoyed the first four weeks of the 2004 season. The Swans Bulletin is intended to keep you up to date with what's happening at the Club and in particular what's going on in Melbourne.
SPORTS EXPO - This weekend 23-25 April
If you're thinking of what to do this weekend, come along and visit the Sports Expo, which is on at the Royal Exhibition Building in Carlton. It's a sports lovers feast and while you're there please drop by and see the Swans booth. Check out our range of Swans merchandise, sign up as a member or just collect some FREE Swans Player cards.
Between 11am and 12 midday Bob Skilton will be at the Swans booth signing autographs.
SWANS SOUTH OF MELBOURNE SUPPORTER GROUP
Watch this weekend's game against the Demons live!
The Swans South of Melbourne Supporter Group invite all Swans supporters to watch the Swans v Melbourne, on Foxtel at the Rye Hotel (2015 Point Nepean Road, Rye - Upper Deck Function Room above the main Sail Bar).
Food and drinks will be available to purchase. This group meets together with the Penisula Demons Football Club most weekends to watch the games. To find out where they will be for future rounds contact Warren Plummer on 0400 158 251.
SWANS v ESSENDON AFTER-MATCH FUNCTION - Sat, 1 May
Catch the players and coach at the Lake Oval
This is the first of two after-match functions in Melbourne, which will be held at the BOB JANE STADIUM (down stairs in the social room) commencing at 5.30pm till 8.00pm. There's plenty of free parking but if you are coming on Public Transport, take the tram (numbers 12 or 112) which should drop you off at the end of Clarendon Street.
Children are more than welcome to attend as the lights of the Soccer ground will be turned on to enable them to be outside and have a kick of the footy. Please note the Soccer ground is completely secure and the only entrance to the ground is via the social rooms.
We will have memberships and a range of merchandise and memorabilia for sale on the evening. There will also be drinks and snack food available for purchase and the opportunity to stay for a meal afterwards.
Peter 'Grubby' Stubbs from Gold 104 FM will be our M.C. - he'll be having a chat with Paul Roos and some of the senior players.
Show your support for the Swannies by being at "The Lake" after the big one!
Entry for members and children is free- for non-members $5.00. To help us with the preparations please RSVP by calling us on 9867 4146, or email on "[email protected]". Thank you.
COLLECTING YOUR SWANS CAP
If you're a Swans member and haven't got your official Members cap as yet, you can collect it at the M.C.G. before the Essendon game at the collection marquee outside Gate 6.
SWANS v COLLINGWOOD BLOCKBUSTER - Round 13
This is the only A.F.L. game on this round therefore is guaranteed to be a blockbuster event. If you want to be part of the action contact the Swans office on 9867 4146 to book your reserved seat and enquire as to what other packages are available.

SWANS JUNIOR MASCOTS
If you're aged between 8 and 15 years and are a passionate Swans supporter then here's an opportunity to be a Swans Junior Mascot. To be selected to run out on the big ground with the Swans team, you need to put in writing why you'd like to be a Swans Junior Mascot for the day and send it to our Melbourne office.
Before each game in Melbourne the two selected mascots will be notified in the week prior. Obviously with the late notice of this bulletin going out it won't be till the Thursday or Friday prior to the Essendon game that we will contact the lucky supporters!
The Swans are supporters of the Ronald McDonald House at Monash Hospital and we have donated 1 of the games in Melbourne to children involved in this organization.
