RICHO back....ROFLMAO. As someone posted on another board....if Richo retired, how would anyone know?

A view from the other side?

I watched the game live down here in Melbourne and have watched the tape as well.

On the night I watched I was puzzeled by the fact that a majority of scoring was at one end. I still do not understand. I can only put it down to a quirck that the teams seemed to get a roll on at different times.

Before the game, while visiting here, I stated that there was not much between these teams given their present form. This game has reinforced this view. The result could have gone the other way quite easily.

I think there were a couple of differences that allowed Us to shade you on the night.

Daniher out coached Roos. I think that the moves that ND made were positive and pro-active and tended to put Roos on the back foot. Green up forward to spark in the second quarter and late in the last I thought the move of Neitz up the ground to the 50m line was a great move.

The play and general pressure in our midfield was better than your team. Under rated players like Godfrey and Thompson played wonderful games and Johnstone, Yze and McDonald all played good games.

From a point of view of a Melbourne supporter it is good to see the team winning ones like this.

I agree, no need to panic... but our last two home games have been woeful. Lucky to get away with the Geelong game and then we were sloppy again against Melbourne and were made to pay.
Even last week's win has lost some of its gloss considering the Roos' appear to have totally fallen out of form.
The forwards should escape criticism as they were excellent - particularly Davis - but what can they do when the ball isn't coming down cleanly, if at all?
Hopefully the first game at the MCG this year will lift the boys as they will need to improve 30% if they are to be competitive.

Has anyone noticed the only two games St Nick has played this year, we've lost!?!

Maybe it's time we got rid of the 'Collingwood reject' - as some stupid Melbournite announced Sat night.

I'm not distressed about our horrible loss on Sat night! We're only 5 games in and still above Eddiewood- what a terrific feeling! Bring on the Bombers!!!!

I know your joking SG but I would hate to think what would have happened if we didn't have him both nights...and dont say lose!

I know... that's an awful thought!

He is truely wonderful! Pity he hasn't shared a win with his team mates yet!

Strange how Nick can be an Eddiewood reject if he was the one that left the horrible club!!
