Pre Match Meet Up this weekend - Return to the Arms

Well after 8 long long months the Swans are finally playing a proper match in Melbourne and as in the past when we play at the MCG the normal group of RWO Melbourne regulars are meeting up before the match at the Cricketers Arms. Those who are down from Sydney for the weekend are more than welcome to join us. If you have any questions, just leave a message here or PM me.

Where: The Cricketers Arms. On Punt Rd, the first pub on the right if your heading towards Collingwood after the Richmond Train Station
    When: From 11am.

We normally head across to the ground at about 1pm-1.30pm
The Arms normally have a BBQ out the back for those who want to have a bite to eat. We will be sitting in the beer garden out the back if it isn't raining (if it is raining we'll be inside next to the Beer Garden).

Gates to the ground open at Midday

After the match, its back to the Lake Oval for the after function (more details when I have them) and there is a group of 30 who go back into South Melbourne for pizza and pasta.

I'll be there, but with the other half coming to Melbourne for the weekend, I might be later than normal.

Who else will be coming? Just the regular RWO clique? How about some other faces from down south show themselves?

I have never used this hostelry and have some northern visitors down for the game, if I can make it I will look in.

Would love to, but the kiddies don't finish their swim lessons till after 12, so, I am gunna struggle to get to the game on time as it is.

And I think they will want to come with me, so that will slow me down.

I have bred 3 HUGE swans fans for the future.

If the weather forecast is right they can practice their swimming during the kick-to-kick.

We definitely be at the game - whether I get to the Arms beforehand depends on whether I end up catching up with a friend or not in the morning.

                I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

I may or may not make the pub - but I'm definitely up for the after match pizza!

I'll be at the pub - and at the game - and at the aftermatch - which is a Bob Jane Stadium near the lake oval - but I do believe downstairs this year not upstairs as previously - the its back for Pizza in Clarendon Street opposite Coles - where we went a couple of times last year.
