Whats the latest with Fixter - are we going to delist him at the end of the year?

Roos has consistently named Ben as a player he believes is in the best 22.

They've stuck with other players deemed to be 'quality' who have had worse injury runs than Fixter - eg James and Doyle.

    Where are you coming from?

No. We're going to recognise the fact that he hasn't played in 18 months, that when he did play he was one of our best youngsters, that he's still only 22/23.

Then we're going to give him a fair chance, and stop fantasising about delistings in round 6.

If Benny can get fit within the next couple of weeks he should be in our starting side in 2nd round. In 2002 he towelled up some quality small forwards and was one of our best. Remember Milne got one kick against him - and that was a freebee from the maggot.

Even if he is fit, and that is gonna take time, is therre room in the one team for all of the likes of Fixter, Crouch, Mathews, Bevan, Schneider, etc, with others like Buchanan also in the wings? He's gonna have to be good to find a spot I think.
