Well Done to the Cheer Squad

I appreciated your efforts on Saturday night, liked the fact that you tried somethign different.
As I have said before I tend not to join in with the "[insert team name here] clap, clap, clap"
Did join in with the "ole ole ole, sydney" and the "Syyyyyydddddnnnneeeeyyyy" chant

At one point the two chaps were laughing at me as I was singing "all we are saying is give us a goal" (to the tune of "give peace a chance" - sorry Mr Lennon) - not only can I not hold a tune in a bucket, I can't keep a melody

Keep up the good work chaps/chapesses
    Bring it on!

Thank you for the kind words. We do try and keep away from the boring stuff as much as possible, and use the simple soccer chants that don't last long and most people know such as the "ole ole ole, sydney" and the long "ssssyyyddddnnneeeeyyy" ones. Of course myself and JF want to get the more complex soccer chants going, but at this moment in time we really can't because hardly anyone outside our group of core chanters will know the words (or what we are even singing for that matter) and the fast pace of our games mean we would have say 3 or 4 times a match to get them going.
    Once was, now elsewhere
