    Fosdike and Bolton's disposal

Nic and Jude's disposal was appalling again today. It has been all year, both of them continually miss targets. We need to find a top quality midfielder, and we need to find it quickly.

Bolton is ok, Fosdike is a shocker. Every time he gets the ball I shout "handball, handball". I wish we had someone else to take his place.

        1998 National Draft:

        Swans Selections:
        3 - Nic Fosdike
        4 - Ryan Fitzgerald
        8 - Jude Bolton

        Others available:
        7 - Josh Carr
        9 - Mark McVeigh
        11 - Lenny Hayes
        12 - Adam Ramanauskas
        14 - Luke Penny
        15 - Brady Rawlings
        16 - Brett Burton
        19 - Nick Davis
        57 - Andrew Embley

        Retrospect is a horrible thing.

Nick Davis should not be on that list, Midaro. He was a father-son. In retrospect, it was a very very poor draft.

It might have been poor, but Carr, Hayes and Ramanauskas may have been more useful for our midfield.

Both their disposal is very much up and down. Sometimes they hit targets nicely and sometimes they miss badly. Not good enough really.

Will never understand why we didn't take the local boys - they were clearly in the mix at that time (top 20).

I am a fan of Jude and Nik, but it seems silly that we didn't take what was in our own backyard.

Both Bolton and Fosdike were weak today. They should be banished from centre bounces on the grounds that they are not gutsy or skilled enough to get a clear break.

Bolton's kicking is appalling. Both players give us nothing froma team perspective on the grounds that their disposal is woeful and accountability to a man is zilch. Boton at times today was a 100 yards from a contest and a man, any bloody man and just strolled around the park.

Should hand todays cheque straight back to the treasurer. Well overpaid this man.
