    After Match Function Pics.

Some Pics of the After match Function if anyone is interested (see sight below). The little heads that seemed to be in most of the photos are my 10 yo twins girls who had a blast metting the players and getting there autographs.

They also had a great day at the game (except for the result of course). It was the second game for one and the first for the other. They are already talking about the next function.

The only negative comment was the "unsportsman behaviour" of the Bomber fans by booing our team. Also they called our players "dicks". AND that was in the MCC reserve. LOL. Got to love the footy.

PS. I hope Craig Bolton knows that woman. hehe

Thanks for the pics. I was impressed with the number of people there. We always go regardless of the result but I know a lot of people don't go when we lose.
We also had a great time at the Pizziera in Clarendon Street, about 30 of us at the after- after- match function.

We should put some RWO flyers out at the next AM function, there was a guy putting flyers out about watching the swans at a pub down in Mornington, so whats to stop us, maybe we should email Tony Morwood and ask if we can do that?????

I doubt the club will allow us to promote competition for the clubs official site, still it won't hurt to try.

We got 26 in, which was down on the turn out after the Demons match last season. Hopefully for the next match down here we can improve on that. Just think Cher, that you, me and JF started this thing off in 2002 and from 4 people it has grown to be so big we take up an entire Pizziera.

Those of you in Melbourne for a match and head over to the aftermatch, should make a point of making the aftermatch feed. Its pure CULT

It would be good to know who are RWOers', as I knew noone and stood there for over an hour talking to noone except my kids. But I kept wondering who was who.

Maybe we could stick a sign on our heads. lol

Or get some badges / buttons (what ever those round things are called) made with the RWO logo and perhaps (optionally) the wearer's screen name.

I had the same problem at the ressies in Canberra. Couldn't find any other RWOers but I know they were there.

Someone on the list must have access to a button machine

Except for the fact it was done in 99 after beating Melbourne at the 'G by 50 points (the game where John Stevens - no not the one on this board - took 20 marks). Only that time it was Lygon St.

                I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

I believe he actually got leather poisoning that day.

                  Great Game.

Geez that's a hell of a turn out by the players, looks like you had half, maybe more of the team there.

This compares to the usually two players that turn up to the AM's in Sydney.

"I think in the past there was a feeling that what was done for the fans in Sydney was always pretty spiffo, but in Melbourne they had to watch the dollars."

What are they going to do about it?

6 of us with 100 flyers each... we could cover the room in no time!

Thought you might say something like that and while I do sympathise, please note you guys are getting a few added extras that us Northeners are missing out on.

and yes I'm sure you'd rather have more matches than better AM's or a family day

Ok, but other than a family day, what are those 'added extras'?

As just stated the better AM setup.
