      "Don't Panic"

It's just me being lazy and testing some code on a live page

      Fear not, as they say.

Well, fear little anyway. I'm trying to make the page sizes smaller so that we don't get socked with a big data transfer bill next month.

177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....

Does your "messing around" also explain why the pages are stuttering a dozen or so times before they load or is that my computer? It's not happening for any other websites I've visited.

After a few minutes I've decided it doesnt have enough red.

bleed red blood - there's plenty of red!

But you have to hover over all the links on the page

I'm going to leave it for now and monitor the page sizes... If it saves 5-10% of loading times and downloads, it'll be worth it.

Everyone, please post here with feedback or if you spot something you think is Not Quite Right.

If the links ARE too hard to spot in the end, we'll just tweak it again.

                        It's sorted out then.

                        And it's pretty good.

Once you've clicked on the "reply" button to a thread, it changes to black, making it hard to see. I think it should stay white.

Also, I also agree that it needs a bit more red, but not too much before we start having retro parties reading the forum.

Thanks Sharpie, I'd missed that one - those links should stay white all the time now.

I can't see go to the new threads button on the front page of the message board.
