Virtually every line in that article points toward him playing except "He did pull up a bit short in his action after bending over to pick up a half-volley on the run, but stayed on to complete the session."Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

Well he still has to pass the final fitness test, so that's a natural precaution.Originally posted by hemsleys

O'Loughlin in doubt for Tigers clash
By Jessica Halloran
May 8, 2004
Sydney Swans forward Michael O'Loughlin will be given until this morning to prove his fitness for the match against Richmond tomorrow. O'Loughlin has been out for about a month with hamstring soreness, and trained lightly at the SCG yesterday.
Swans coach Paul Roos said he would also decide whether O'Loughlin had done enough training to play.
"Mick says he's feeling OK, we will check him in the morning," Roos said. "He's only really trained for 20-25 minutes of footy stuff over the last three or four weeks. We'll speak to him in the morning and see how he feels, and then we'll make an informed decision after that .. . If he feels OK, and we think he's done enough, he'll play."
Forward Nick Davis has had hip soreness and did not take part in all of yesterday's training session but is expected to take the field tomorrow.
"With Davo we wanted him to take part in the first two drills and that's it," Roos said. "He is saying he's feeling OK. We didn't want to aggravate it by training for too long. Again, we'll see how he pulls up and make an assessment after that."

Defender Jason Saddington came off the training track early, and tagger Brett Kirk did not complete the session after colliding with Matthew Nicks during a training drill but is expected to play.
