    Saddo...

How long before they make him go down back to take Richo?

James onto Richo now, I think I saw Saddo moved back too. Buchanan's found the ball a few times too, just some poor disposal has let him down.

I think Richo's already had Bolton, Barry & James to some extent.

I'm just hoping they leave Saddo where he is (playing one of his best games), rather than putting him on Richo and having some around here say he 'faded'.

Buchanan's doing very well. Keep this up, and he's a certain starter next week.

The tackle to make up for that free kick late in the second was one of the best I've seen all year, and the smother at half-back set up O'Keefe's goal.

He's certainly giving his all at the moment, which is great to see. Go Monty!!!

O' the irony, in retrospect Saddo should have been tried on Richo.

It couldn't have got any worse

Is it just me or has anyone else notiched Amon's body shape.

He is ripped this year! Much better than last years solid stodgy look.

I thought James did okay. Richo seemed in full flight today.

Saddo, unfortunately, was just a passenger today (like so many others) after a couple of goals early.

One disappointing thing was when Richo kicked his 6th goal in the third qtr after gathering the ball on the wing, he comfortably ran away from Saddo who should have chased him and put him under pressure.

This was typical of our weak efforts today.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Goodes in DEFENCE!

It's not working out for him in attack -- quite often he & Baz get in each other's way. And he's not the most reliable set shot at goal. Plus with him in the F50, he's got very little room to run. Far from being the best spot for him, I'm beginning to think it's the worst!

We need his size, drive & creativity down back -- otherwise we'll just keep getting chopped to bits by monsters like Richo, Neitz, Lynch, Treadrea, et al.

Yeah, we really are starting to look like a Full Forward's dream. Neitz and now Richo have had an almost pressure free ride against us. Lloyd was relatively quiet, but at the cost of Barry's run out of defense. I personally thought James had a very poor day, but can appreciate that it was more the midfield's fault. The problem is the lingering image of the short pass to Richo in front of the Noble stand in the last quarter. James was a good 5-10 metres behind him.

Barry did a good job on Lloyd last week. Maybe he would have been a more likely opponent for Richo.

Possibly - not like we got any run out of defence today even without Leo having to play on the opposition key forward.

                        I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

We don't seem very good at blocking space in the opposition forward line (exactly as teams do to us) and we don't pressure the ball enough when going into F50.

Our backmen are not the best in the comp, but with help and co-operation from the whole team they can do the job. That's not what's happening.

I think Richo could be too big for Barry, and we really need to keep him on the half back line to get some more drive.

Yep Have to agree James had a bad day, Richo just pushed him aside too easily but not easy to find another option who could have held Richo today.

We really look suspect in defence without Schauble, which is why I dont know why we are not playing LRT getting him ready for a key defensive possie, CHB?
