A RICHMOND fan was arrested by police at the SCG today after clashing with Sydney's Nick Davis in the final quarter of today's AFL clash.
The man, in his 20s, wearing Richmond paraphernalia, used his forearm to give Davis a shove across the shoulders as the forward returned to the field after over-balancing over the fence.
As Davis and another Swan left the area, the man continued to challenge the Swans pair while hurling abuse.
The man, whose actions were filmed, was removed from the ground, charged with interfering with an event and fined $110.
In a separate incident, Richmond coach Danny Frawley stopped to remonstrate with a Sydney supporter who yelled at him as he walked through the crowd at the end of the Tigers' 10.7 (67) to 8.6 (54) victory.
Especially considering how many weeks Davis could have got if he'd given the idiot what he deserved...
Lucky he got anyting actually Charlie
This incidnt was a bay or two around from the cheer sqaud bay
and security didnt do anything until Julian and a couple of others said something to a customer safety man behind the cheer squad bay
After a while thet wnet around and took him away but security should be watching for these indicdents and how much more obvious did someone have to be it was even on the big screen (I missed it myself but Im not paid to do security)
