Our style - kick to kick

Why the hell do they play kick to kick all along the sidelines? Does this come from the coach or the players? Where are the buccaneering Swans of 2003?
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Because they have lost the plot and clearly we don't have enough intelligent players to hold the team together.

Yes, now did we go down the centre once today. Maxfield is quoted as saying we were harder at it and better at the clearances. Utter crap, and he was one of the biggest culprits.

The only thing we got right today was downright mediocrity.

Jared Crouch spoke about that during the aftermatch this afternoon. Other teams have worked out the Swans' 2003 game plan are putting tall players (such as Ottens today) in the corridor, so the Swans don't have the space or marking power to go down the guts.

The coaches need to find a way around the opposition's blocking plan in a big hurry because our current strategy of kicking short and wide to the flanks is just not working . It is boring football and is not productive.
