Does Schauble - 3 weeks mean 3 weeks from this week, or 3 weeks from every week?

I seriously don't expect to see him untill Rd. 12, and even then he'll be so underdone it won't be funny.

At least Fixter is (apparantly) available, be good to see him again after so long.
To all those people who waited 72 years to see a South Melbourne/Sydney Swans premiership HERE IT IS!!

> Lewis Roberts-Thomson (thumb) 4 weeks

Four weeks out with a thumb? What, was it cut right off?

> Daniel Hunt (leg) 3 weeks

Which part of his leg? Next they'll be calling concussion an "upper body injury" like they do in the NHL.

We're likely to lose against the Weagles, unfortunately.

Give Davis a rest, get him fixed. Ditto Magic. Give Nicks a run, maybe. Or McVeigh could be a decent option considering the Weagles' midfield strength and short forward line, which will require the likes of Mathews and Crouch to stay in the defensive line.

Does the club have some secret code I'm unaware of? Like "test" means "forget it", "one week" means "a month" and "four weeks" means "see you next year"?

Any former hamsting injuries?

Ben Fixter (hamstring) available

In the team?

Andrew Schauble (hamstring) 3 weeks

Still. We will really need him against the aints.

Michael O'Loughlin (hamstring) available

Hope he plays sit in the goal square. I don't really see a weagle who would take him.

Don't forget "Nick Davis - test". That doesn't mean he's a gimme. In fact, with the literary license the Swans use for injuries, maybe we should check the funeral notices??

as per my reserves report.

Hunt hurt what appeared to be the outside of his left lower leg. Calf area I first thought, then he was showing Roosy and it looked like he also indicated around his knee area.

LRT was kicked in the hand. He couldn't continue or take the free awarded him. He appeared to be in considerable pain as he ran past us when leaving the field.

Great news. And I suspect RWO is more reliable than the Swans website.

Nick Davis - he was also at the F&L with friends. I saw him as we were on our way to the car park and had a quick chat. He said the problem was delivery to him. You've gotta give him points for self-confidence. Hmmm,

From the Swans Reserves report on the Swans website:

Lewis Roberts-Thompson who played the first five rounds of this year and earned himself a National AFL Rising Star nomination last year, badly dislocated his thumb in the last term which needed to be operated on and will most likely miss the next three weeks.

Rookie Daniel Hunt went down with a knee ligament strain and is also out for three weeks.
Not good news at all.
