I personally would like to see the SCG seating capacity expanded so that there would be less games at homebush. But the reality is that the SCG will stay the same size because there is a market for events with 20-40,000 people, and a whole separate market for events larger than that. In order to remain an attractive venue for events, the SCG will just rely on Homebush being too big, in a similar way to why the Entertainment Centre is still successful despite the SuperDome, since the Dome is far too large for Sydney crowds needing an indoor venue.
