    Touch Down in sunny Perth

    Well Swans Fans

I have touched down into sunny Perth. After some good old fashioned Virgin Blue "Air Aerobics" I feel on top of the world.

I'm pumped for tomorrow's game and am predicting a 15 point win to the mighty Swanies.

Goodes to run in the ruck, Saddo to play in the forward line (cross fingers), Magic back............I'm excited!!!

The weather is magnificent, though some late showers are forecast for tomorrow. Let's hope that it doesn't rain until 5pm.

    Well, I'm here too, finally.

Captain, were you on the flight that landed just after 3pm?

Agree on the weather, looks great - will suit our game no end.

177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....

I hope you both have tickets to the game sewn up because the AFL site reports that, as of this afternoon, tickets were selling fast and there are few left.

We certainly have got tickets to the game!! After the trouble I got us into with the actual flights, I double and triple checked the game tickets

Walking back to our hotel tonight after dinner, I spotted a lady walking down Hay St with a red and white footy scarf. Anyone here want to own up?

wel I'm still in Sydney but was standing a checkout away from another Swanie (a lady wearing a dark blue Swans jacket) in Franklins at Panania at about 5pm tonight .... just thought I'd join in too.

Could be a South Fremantle surpporter as they have exact colors to us, although as you will see tomorrow the swans have a strong following here in WA.

Got here too. The flight was awfully long and rather uncomfortable. Plus a person was sick in the toilets up the front.

It is 3am (my time) and I need a sleep.

See you all at the Irish club tomorrow. I'm a rather portly guy with a red cap, goatee and specs. I'll be lugging flags and patties around, so come up and say hi!

I have my tickets ready - albiet they are "restricted viewing due to mesh" ...whatever the hell that means.

It's a lovely morning, not a cloud in the sky. Hope this carries through the day.

Des - my flight landed around 10am, I had a bit of an early start! Were you on the 3pm flight?

Yep, left Sydney at 12:15 - I could have been on the 7am flight, but I didnt' want to cause my lift to the airport any more trouble than they already had!!

I WAS supposed to be on the 8pm flight the night before, and I stuffed up and missed it.

                        Don't you hate missing flights!

My wife refused to take me that early in the morning, so I was forced to take a cab. Not Happy!

You should see the sky over here this morning. So blue it is almost glowing. Needless to say, so am I.

BUT, storms and rain are predicted for later this afternoon. Which leaves me a little preturbed.

I'm just hoping beyond hope that the forecasters are wrong. I'm told that the weather springs up late in the arvo when the Fremantle Doctor kicks on. Hope they are wrong!

I'm nervously excited about not only the game, but my first trip to WA.
