    Leo in slow mo?

How many times did we see Leo get the ball and fail to dispose of it in time? He's good in spoiling but just won't give up the ball.

And he still bounces the thing like a basketball!

I only remember one time when he failed to get rid of it in time. Other times we've seen the risky, fearless Leo of old, streaming out of defense, drawing a player, and handballing over the top. Great to see - when it comes off!

Ditto. I thought it was the best rebounding performance of his since the opening game of the season.

On the negative side, I think his opponent might have been Matera - only by a process of elimination because Matera didn't often seem to have any opponent at all.

          Leo was matera's direct opponent

Yep that's correct and he was far to quick for Leo.

And was continually able to stand at the foot of packs when a teammate contested a mark, along with 2 of our players, meaning easy crumbs.

I reckon Leo has been busting a gut all year trying to regain that backline run we've failed to resurrect from last season. Won't hear a word against him.

But I will say he reminds me of Zoolander sometimes, the way he only spins one way to favour that foot of his.

The only thing I could see that he did wrong was his stupid habit of running to his wrong foot, then trying to get past them then back onto his left. The opposition have worked him out and always immediately run to his left.

You can see that he is looking for an option (I think?), but he would be better placed kicking it long in the first instance, at least in the hope someone will run onto it. Rather than get caught up and lose the run for the side out of the backline.
