    Missing Cresswell and kelly

I have said it before I will say it again :The thing that these two had and the thing that this current team lacks is Mongrel. Have a good look in there at the engine room. Our boys just don't have that extra ingredient that will make them go the extra inch to posses the ball. Only schneider, beven, and hall, have it - kirk has somthing as important but not mongrel, jude wants everyone to beleive he has it but does not !
Untill we get the mongrel back we aint ging far !!

Have a read of Rocket's article on The Age website about "Clean Hands".

He has a point that the superior players at stoppages have the clean hands necessary to go into packs and handpass to a team mate with space and I mean lots of space.

Rocket said that Cressa had the touch and he was right. Jude needs to work harder on his hands and so too does Kirky from pack. Passing it into the oven is no good either. Need to get it out and 20 meters out at that.

Mongrel is really code form someone with the willingness to get in there and nouse is the skill to send it out at speed to a clear target!

Totally disagree, footyhead. What we lack are silken skills to back up any good attack on the footy.

We are the FUMBLE - MEISTERS

It really starts to hurt when this problem even dribbles down to the ones you rely on...anyone notice after a great clearance out of the middle a quick kick went to the advantage of Micky....men on hand but under pressure he spille the bouncing ball to....Judd, run down the field, score. End of ball game.

From little things big things get @@@@** up really quickly.

Here's my call. If Micky had grabbed that ball we would have won.

I'm not blaming him for the loss, of course, just pointing out how EVERY DETAIL counts and how we must eliminate these simple, fundamental errors if we are to beat decent teams.

Is it possible for players to suddenly regain touch? Presumably.

Is it possible for players to find touch they never had? No.

It is a little thing called confidence!!!

They were dripping with it last year.

Look at the Colliwobbles and the Saints, one has lost it the other has gained it!!

Once we gain that then the ball will start to fall our way, as it did against the Roos. And clean possession will come with it.

We need a good Psyche person in there
