What sort of an idiot question is that. The Belconnen scores were put in for general information . The Swans Reserves scores were posted because no one else bothers to post them .

Can anyone give an update on the likes of Potter, Schmidt, Willoughby, Taylor, Davis etc? Hopefully these boys can show something for next season.

Before you start flying off the handle, it has been customery for a more detailed report to be given on each player in our reserves team. At least those actually on the Swans list. So I say again :
who did what and what does it mean ??

            Footyhead

I live in Canberra and not in Wagga . I was not at the game and I posted the scores because no one else bothered and I thought a few people might be interested.

pardon my ignorance, but whos "Goode"? I didnt know we had another Goodes, minus the 's'.

Anyhow, a detailed report on the kids would be nice. Thanks for getting the ball rolling, SWANSBEST.

Goode was a straight copy out of The Australian . I do not know if the name is Goode or Goodes.

thanks SwansBest, I've been searching some of the Canberra Leagues websites for results, I also checked out the Canberra times, to no avail. I didn't think to check The Australian.

                      for everyone's info:

When the reserves play in Sydney, I will review the match as best I can. When they play elsewhere I will endeavour to find out some information, however, I'm yet to find a reliable source (although the Australian may be the place to look in future), short of calling the club directly. This will only give me results though and not the player performances I usually do.

Hayes is a young fill in player, who has played for the past couple of weeks. He was playing FF against Belconnen and did quite well. Will endeavour to find out where he's from. He's a mid to smallish player, was very handy when crumbing, and took some nice marks too (against Belconnen that is)
Here's my heart and you can break it
I need some release, release, release
                      We need
                      Love and peace

There's a report of sorts on the Wagga Tigers website:

It seems Warfey is the captain of the reserves!

And according to the sportingpulse website: sportingpulse
this was the squad for the game:
                        David Boers
                        Marc Geppert
                        Sean Dempster
                        Stephen Doyle
                        James Meiklejohn
                        Rowan Warfe
                        Matthew Davis
                        M Daniher
                        Bryson Lashbrook
                        Luke Walsh
                        David Thompson
                        Nick Potter
                        Josh Thewlis
                        Luke Ablett
                        Josh Willoughby

I sure hope A Hayes is related to L Hayes and is a much better player (if this is possible)!!

Thanks Swansbest - good to hear some info.

Well Doyle is in for Goodesy by the look of it, maybe Ablett might get another go at the expense of someone.

Hawthorn will go very tall this weekend I reckon.

                              So Fixter didn't play, then

                              Bugger.

Interesting to read on the Wagga website that they thought Warfe was the difference! And also that the Swans top up players came from the local (Wagga) area. I had assumed that our top ups were young Sydney area players (like Potter last year).

Does that mean they have different top-ups each week then? I guess this would contribute to us being 4th on the ladder at the moment.
