In terms of mobility I think a spritely goalpost might have it over some of our midfield at present.

We need the King (Paul Kelly) back at the Club in either a playing (the only option), assistant coaching, skills coaching, running, water boy or Kenny Williams capacity - to show these spoon midfielders (ie. Fosd*#@head, J.Bolton, S.Maxfield, A.Goodes etc etc) a bit of inspiration & leadership.

No it's very different actually.

There were at least three Swans near the ball, why weren't they running into space or past him to receive the handball??

This is why we don't have the same sort of run we did last year. No one is working as hard off the footy.

I agree that people aren't running to space nearly enough, but that is not the reason why Fosdike coughed the ball up. He had time to steady and find an open man by foot, but instead tried a loopy 20m handball into traffic that was easily picked off by Judd.

Upon reviewing the footage of this bit of play, you will find that Paul Williams is running into space, therefore a kick was required and not a stupid piddly handball.

Also, if Fosd&*#head was to go the handball, there were three teammates adjacent to him on their own, and not six to seven metres in front of him, ready to receive the handball - but instead he chose the longer handball ( thinking he was Polly Farmer ).
