Reserves Swans v Wagga Tigers update

Hi all this is my first ever post so bear with me being a Wagga
Swans fan I got along to check out the talent in our reserves and
the news is fairly good Doyle dominated the hit outs and took a
few nice grabs around the ground. The player I really think will be
a gun midfielder in years to come is Willoughby he needs to build
up the upper body strength but he has skill to burn. Josh Thewlis
must be close to senior selection he has pace is good overhead
and his delivery skills were okay. Mclone looks good but I think
he needs a bit of muscling up. Happy to answer any queries
when I am next on line.
    cheers Ian

Thanks Ian. Great news to hear Willoughby is looking good so far Also good to see Thewlis made an impact as well some people were saying he is lazy.

      Thanks Ian,

Was Tim Schmidt playing? I did not see him listed in one of the post around here.

I don't think we said he was lazy (well I know I didn't in my reports), he works very hard to get to the ball, it's just he doesn't always dispose of it well. It's often been rushed. Last year I thought he was a stand out for the reserves and am disappointed with only that aspect of his game so far this year.
Here's my heart and you can break it
I need some release, release, release

Swans Reserves v Wagga Tim Schmidt

Tim Schmidt did not play neither did Jarrod Mcveigh I forget to
mention the promising effort of young Andrew Erickson for a guy so tall he is very agile takes a nice mark he kicked 2 goals I reckon in time he will be a fine player.
          cheers Ian

McVeigh almost certainly travelled over to the west with the team as an emergency. That far away from home and with ongoing question marks against the fitness of O'Loughlin and Davis, they wouldn't have wanted to be caught one short.
