oh pleeeeeease someone do that for the syd v pie match.
We might wait to see where WE are on the ladder before doing this, but it's a cracker of an idea! If that sign were prominently behind the goal square it'd be hard to ignore by the TV cameras.

Also, for those asking about how to make signs etc, it's a simple job to bung something up on the 'puter (even in Word .. cough cough .. spit) and going down to your local Kinkos' or whatever. Have them run out a print at A1 or AO size, stick it on a bit of waffleboad (for strength and lightness). Hold by the hands or tape it to a stick - and .... Voila!

I did a small one a few years ago for a Doggies match when Grant couldn't kick true (still can't). So after he took aim & missed yet again I'd hoik it up. It said "YIP-ee". Got a few laughs.
Good men do good deeds. Evil men do evil deeds. But it takes religion for a good man to do evil deeds.

Or go to Spotlight and buy some Calico or something similar, some spraypaint and off you go....then just need a couple of poles to stick the thing on and you're set.

      I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

Did you see the Wobbles huge 'Game Over' sign last night? Something like that would be good!

Actually 'Season Over' was an idea from my sister, but yeah it should be held up in the cheer squad area... it's have no effect in the members area where I sit.

I feel like a complete fool calling him SCHNEIDER then
The word "Schneider" is actually German and mean "tailor" (as in "suitmaker"). This come from the verb "schneiden-to cut".

And PUUUULLLLEASE do not spell it "SchnIEder". The German speaker in me goes mental, as that would be pronounced "Ssh-neeeeee-der" as in the Swiss tennis player Patty Schnyder, or 'sneaker'.

Then again,if we were to use true German pronunciation to the book Stewart Loewe would have been pronounced. "Ler-ver". "L?we" is actualy the German word for "Lion", a species known in Bavaria for lowering divisions when in a period of duress.

One banner I was thinking of making is "The SCG-the Brownlow Factory."

                More banner ideas ...

                Swans vs Essendon:
                LLOYD WINS BEST ACTOR OSCAR

                If we're the premiership favourites:
                IT'S TIME

                Swans vs Collingwood:
GAME OVER (for best effect, held up simultaneously by 1,000 people in various parts of the ground - co-ordinating this would be tricky)
"Unbelievable!" -- Nick Davis leaves his mark on the 2005 semi final
