There was a very sensible article over the weekend that quoted Roos as saying perhaps part of the Swans' problem was close losses - losses "with honour" like vs the Lions. As he said, it creates a midset where mediocrity becomes acceptable.
Maybe when Roos says that the Swans aren't stars (a line I'm getting tired of) he's saying that they generally raise - or lower - their game to the standard of the team they are playing. When we drop a bit below that we lose as we have for the past month. And the opposition gets a new boost of confidence from beating us and plays well for the next few weeks.
Today the Hawks fans at the ground were absolutely gutted. I hope the Swans team confidence has lifted as much.
