Considering we only had one ruckman in Ball, who else would play on Spider???? I don't think tagging Spider is the right word, more so Ball did a great defensive job in the ruck without purely negating him.

Great coaching by Roos to play Ball at Full Back when Spider went forward. Thank God Saddo didn't get the job.

I did watch the game from my seat in Bay 6. But I presumed that Ball wouldn't go forward with him and someone else would take that role. And when I saw Ball with the ball Spider didn't seem to be around. Watching the game at the field I tend to just follow the ball and miss what's happening with off-ball tactics. On the occasions when Spider got the ball I'd just think "oh yeah, he should be having more influence" then the ball would be off again. And my concentration would go with it. That way, I get the extra thrill when I watch a winning game on video as we win a whole new game.

I know if I take my eye of the ball, those dastardly opposing players will profit from my inattention. I often go home with a headache.

I agree watching it on video after is great, but ONLY after a win. Watching a game twice when we lose just rubs it in.
