    Next 3 weeks

Next three weeks are pretty tough - Dogs in Sydney, Saints in Sydney and Port in Adelaide.

Based on what I saw today not sure if we will win any.

But I would love to be the first side to burst the Saints bubble

Yep, it will be tough, but it could be where we really get our season on track and start storming towards September!

We'd probably want to win 2 of those 3 to be 6-6, but even 1 win wouldn;t be a disaster with games against Collingwood, Carlton and Adelaide to follow.

Looking at it as the next 6 games instead of 3, we really need to be at least 8-7 if we are going to have a chance of doing anything meaningful in September as the run home over the last 7 rounds won't be easy at all.

    I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

Somewhere along the line the Aints have to fall over. I'd love it to be in Sydney.

The way they're going at the tribunal they could have a punch up in the change room and not make it onto the ground.

If you really think this team can beat the aints, your dreaming.

You're right. Let's give the boys the week off to get them relaxed for Port and the Wobbles. Hell, we wouldn't have much chance against last year's minor premiers either so give them a fortnight off.

I post it as I see it.
Today I saw 2 very ordinary teams in Hawthorn vs Sydney.
The Aints however were awsome and have been all year..... so anyone dreamin that the current list will beat the aints anytime in the next 12 months deserves to have their sanity questioned. (well maybe an outside chance within 12 months, but not in the next 3 weeks)
It is great we got the 4 points, but blind optimisim will not take this Swans team where we want it to go.

We often play to our opposition's level (someone posted a similar comment, perhaps by Roos, here tonight I think).

I've seen Swans, so many times I can't remember them all, play like crap against a really ordinary opposition and then improve out of sight against a top opposition.

We can defeat the Saints, however we will need to improve a lot from where we currently are.

There was a guy on the bus ride home (park and ride) today who said exactly the same thing! He said that we too often allow the opposition drag us down to their level, and thats where we have scrappy ugly affairs against the bottom teams.

Go Swannies, are you a 40odd yo male with greyish hair and a deep voice?

Well, I agree. Perhaps you should be the coach then if you are starting sound like Roos.

I've followed the Swans for over 40 years - so I've done lots of dreaming in my life time - and we always play better against better opposition so I think we have as good a chance as any.

I reckon RWO should coach by committee. In fact, we already do.
