I would like to formally welcome Amon Buchanan to the list of Sydney's best for the first time in his AFL career.
Start him on the ground in the centre, Roosey.

No we have two possible gun midfielders in Buchanan and Schneider.
The way Schnieder played in the game V Essendon before doing his hammy was very encouraging, he played from the midfield that day.
Along with Buchanan's spark in there the last couple of weeks, if I was coach i would put Jude on the bench to let him know he is struggling and start Amon in the middle.
Jude has been given more than enough starting time in there - 9 weeks now, put Amon in their and strike while the iron is hot so to speak.
I dream of the day when Roos has an embarassment of riches and has to pick whether to go with an inform newcomer or bring back an established player. In fact, I just long for the day when his next best option to fill the 22 isn't Wharfe.

you are wrong. Jude has had a gun season thus far and so has our dynamo Fossie.
Well that would be the impression a new commer would get if he was reading this site.
its frustrating b/c Roos is going down the same path as Eade. He won't drop duds instead he promotes them. it's time to get tough Mr Roos.

Yes, I commented on that yesterday. He was only on the ground for less than 2/3rds of the game.
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

Just watched the 1st Q and (oops, somewhat) Monty did start on the ground. He had the first clearance, but it was from a secondary so I don't know if he was actually starting in the centre or at half forward.

To some degree I tend to agree.
Roos, even last year showed a penchant for some very soft and strange decisions when it came to match ups and dealing with players who have lost form.
The reinclusion of warfe this week is rather strange, and the fact that their has been hardly any experimentation in our midfeild is a worry cos that is where most of our problems lie !!
IMO the jury is still seriously out on Roos.
