Tim Flynn passed away from Leukemia a couple of years ago. Will always remember the 'Ballz Up' team with Tim, Dave Warner and others in that great year of 1996. LOL mate. Being from WA, do you reckon there is a difference in the accent between Sydney and Perth? I spent Saturday morning sitting listening to the WA radio news bulletins just listening to the way they pronounced things. I definitely heard words pronounced different over there. Just like guys like Peter Donogan have what I would describe a "Melbourne" accent (ie "Malbourne" and "Bath-hurst") and Bruce has what I'd call an SA accent ("field" is pronounced as "fuewld","bottle" as "bottoo" and "Hello" as "Halloh-oo") and Rugby League caller Pat Welsh would have a Queensland accent (ie: highly nasal), I reckon Tim Gossage has a WA-sounding accent.
If I hear the commentators saying one more time that a player has a "blood nose", I'll scream. It is a disgrace, I tell you!
