Tadhg: We are doing ?Talking with Tadhg? and we have got the big stud himself, Ryan O?Keefe. Ryan, how are things?
Ryan: Yeah pretty good thanks Tadhg.
Tadhg: Well you know this interview is getting to know a bit about you outside of footy. So do you want to start by telling us where you grew up?
Ryan: I came from this beautiful, warm, tropical place called Melbourne. I use to sunbake everyday and go to the beach until I moved up here. Now I'm into my fifth season with the Swans and enjoying it all very much.
Tadhg: Obviously coming from Melbourne then you were always into AFL?
Ryan: Of course, it is a religion down there and with both my Dad and Grandfather playing AFL, it was just in my blood to play.
Tadhg: Who did you support as a kid?
Ryan: I actually barracked for Fitzroy, so I use to watch Roosy and Warfey (Rowan Warfe), which might make Warfey feel a little bit old. When they moved to Brisbane I didn?t really follow anyone and concentrated more on playing myself.
Tadhg: Since you have been in Sydney, what do you do with your time away from football?
Ryan: You?d probably find me out in the water when I?ve got spare time. I don?t mind surfing and get out there as much as I can.
Tadhg: Sounds a bit like me Ryan.
Ryan: Yeah I noticed you were a water baby.
Tadhg: And are you studying?
Ryan: I go to uni on a part-time basis, it?s good to have something to fallback on.
Tadhg: So Ryan, how does it feel to be voted second sexiest player at the Swans, coming second to the obvious choice, Tadhg Kennelly?
Ryan: All I can say is that there must be a lot of Irish people in Sydney!
Tadhg: Recently you played your 50th game for the Swans which is a pretty good achievement, how was it?
Ryan: It was a good achievement for sure, just unfortunate we lost the game. Reaching fifty games is not bad and now that I?ve reached that milestone I can start setting myself some higher goals. The first fifty is probably the hardest to achieve as you are still learning the caper.
Tadhg: Now you have no excuses for mistakes!
Ryan: Absolutely, you are a senior member so you gain more responsibility.
Tadhg: Do you have any plans for the end of the year?
Ryan: I am going to travel overseas, maybe to Fiji or something like that, and just go surfing for two weeks.
Tadhg: Where is your favourite holiday destination?
Ryan: I am not really sure. I am hoping the trip at the end of year will become a favourite, I?ll keep you posted.
Tadhg: A few quick questions now, favourite book?
Ryan: Too much uni work to read for pleasure.
Tadhg: Favourite TV program?
Ryan: I?d have to say ?Survivor?
Tadhg: Favourite movie?
Ryan: Snatch
Tadhg: Snatch? good choice!
Tadhg: A few questions now about Ireland to finish off. What is the population of Ireland?
Ryan: Um? 40 million?
Tadhg: Way off! Take off the zero and you?d be correct, 4 million.
Tadhg: Where do I come from?
Ryan: Kerry.
Tadhg: You got it.
Tadhg: Alright Ryan, that is about it, unless you want to tell us anything else?
Ryan: Well I am pretty proud to do this interview ?Talking with Tadhg?, it?s another milestone, so thanks Tadhg.
Tadhg: Thank you Ryan.
