Jason Ball has worse yips than Rawlings

Good effort on Sunday...as Roosey said, absolutely vital to the win. I like him going back to cover their ruckman going forward (as he will have to do with darcy this week)

    However

His first five kicks were ALL clangers. OOB or straight to a Hawthorn player without going to the hand of a Swan (not even a contest).

Can anything be done? Didn't he kick bags of goals when he was at the Eagles??? How is that possible?

Does anybody have a clue as to what the F is wrong with his kicking?

A theory I have thought about, is perhaps they did too good a job on his shoulder and when the ball is delivered from his hand to his foot, it's at a different angle. Something along those lines. I know it sounds bizarre, but it's all in the timing and balance, so maybe???

Maybe it is the opposite Bam_Bam, they did not align his shoulder properly so when he thinks he is dropping the ball onto his foot perfectly, it is actually 5 degrees off centre.

      Thus spraying the ball!!!

or maybe they put his right arm on his left shoulder and his left arm on his right shoulder. /nods approvingly/

maybe it's not even him out there (saw an add for Face Off with Cage & Travolta the other night, thus this sprung to mind)

And now Kirky has blabbed that it was Jason not Spider who carried the ball over for a point in the dying moments of the Hawks game?

Either the shoulder or a confidence issue after that lions game. These things just happen.
Using hypothesis testing via confidence intervals:
Nick Davis mark inside 50 = goal
