    Lrt

How much do we miss this guy? Admitedly, his form prior to his injury was not that flash but this guy is crucial to our structure. Play tall enough to man-up again the towering types, strong enough to man-up the mountaining ones (I am overstretching abit here ). Mobile enough to run with a flanker. Is good at ruckman, could provide a contest up forward and go back as a tall backman. All are whenever required.

He adds so much to our team structure. Giving us an option to counter whatever the opposition could throw at us as well as generating an option to split the opposition's defence.

A tremendous asset to the team. Another 1-2 seasons (another 20-30 games) and we will have a gem in our hands.

He was struggling for form before the thumb. He has great potential and has played very few AFL games at any level (rugby union background) so we just need to give him a chance - but he's one that may need time in the twos.

Incidentally, I was having a drink with him at the best and fairest dinner at the end of last season. I mentioned that the role he'd likely develop into would require him to bulk up during the off season. He looked down at his beer and joked "Geez mate, I'm drinking beer as fast as I can" and suggested a big beer belly might be the ideal way to bump forwards out of position. I think it might have even been his second beer for the night, too.

Must admit that what you say is what I HOPE we see and what I was expecting of him, but I've been a little bit disappointed with him. However, still a novice to the game. Would see him as long term CHB.
