Just letting everyone know that my 4 year old son will be making his SCG debut on Saturday night with the Auskickers so make sure you give them a big cheer!

Thats great to hear. He could be the future saviour of our club. The auskickers are great entertainment. I always have a laugh, especially the young ones who do cartwheels whilst the ball of bouncing around them!

Incidentally, is that his photo below your name on your posting?
lol
Ah, no. He's slightly smaller than that!

Bit of a coincidence there Dave, I've got my mob up for the game against the Saints next week.
Which is a bit of pity because as you'll find out you'll end up missing half the game getting the tackers changed and unchanged.
Anyways good luck, it's a top day for the kids, enjoy it.

Hmmm. It might be prudent to let the wife help him change whilst I make sure everything's OK from the stand.

When I asked Kell to sign his book for me in Canberra, I asked that he write the lines " .. the glory days of the sub-atoms are over Ben - now get a life!"
This was in tribute to the names given to the grades when I was a nipper playing on those frosty fields around the ACT in the sixties. From memory, they went SUB-ATOMS, ATOMS, MIDGETS, SUB-JUNIORS, JUNIORS, al they way up to COLTS & INTERMEDIATES. After that, I think it went to 3rds, 2nds & 1sts, as we know them today. Does anyone know if these sort of terms are used today?
