    Was that a goal?

Can anyone confirm whether the touched behind, which looked to come off a boot (Hall's I think) in the third quarter was a goal or a behind?
It certainly looked like it came off the boot from where I was sitting. Waited patiently for a replay but none was forthcoming. Can any of you who watched it on the teve enlighten me?
    Bring it on!

They didn't replay it on the coverage, I was waiting for one as well.

Can you remember roughly what minute of the 3Q it was? I'll check my recording this afternoon.

From Noble Stand definitely a goal, if Grant had touched it he wouldn't have a hand left! Goal umpire must have been one of Goldspink's stoooges.

I thought the goal umpire must have touched it, coz I didnt think anyone else got within cooee of it.

There was a hand in there somewhere, but the goal umpire was guessing to say it was touched.

From my vantage point in the Noble, I've seen heaps of those over the years and rarely does an umpire call 'touched'.

For the others in the Noble Stand who would have had a good view, what about the point the Bulldogs kicked very early in the game. They called it OOBOTF but it was inside the behind post by a conservative 1-2 metres. The maggots had a bit of a conference, then another field maggot got involved, they all brainstormed it and still stuffed it up. Then KB on the call mentions 'clearly OOB' from his 'perfect' position in the Brewongle Stand

I couldnt say with any cetrtainty that it WAS a goal, all I can say is that from my vantage point in the Noble it looked like it came off a boot and was not touched before it went over the line, but the error of parralax etc...I'm quite comfortable with the decision, right or wrong, but I am not happy with Barry being saddled and ridden and no free being given, or him being punched in the head and no free being given. As an old footy follower, to me it is almost unbelievable that in days when we have 3 umpires, such things go unpenalised.
And it almost refies logic to suggest that it's only Mathew lloyd that gets "man-handled" among FFs., and is rewarded with two or three free goals a game. It is absolutely extrordinary to suggest that the same does not happen to Barry Hall, or Lockett for that matter in his day....
"Davis...Davis has kicked 2...he snaps from 40...dont tell me, dont tell me, hes kicked a goal....unbelievable stuff from Nick Davis, can you believe this, he's kicked 3 final quarter goals and Swans are within 3 points..."
