    How

    What a weekend (so far)
    How...
GOOD was our backline last night!!!
SOFT are Fremantle when it matters?
AWFUL are Carlton still (half time now and nearly 100 points down)?
CRAP are the Hawks (can they still make the finals? )
FANTASTIC was Magic's dive on the ball to set up a goal for B2
PATHETIC were the decisions in the last quarter against Bazza
    OVER-RATED are Melbourne?
    UNDER-ESTIMATED are the Lions
"Davis...Davis has kicked 2...he snaps from 40...dont tell me, dont tell me, hes kicked a goal....unbelievable stuff from Nick Davis, can you believe this, he's kicked 3 final quarter goals and Swans are within 3 points..."

Agree with all of that. Last year I thought the Lions were past it. But tipped them today and glad I did. They just have too much heart - even if they are just about playing their second 18! Today was the moment when I first saw that they could win four in a row.

If emulating them is Roos' ambition, go for it for as long as it takes.

TRYING to still make the finals from last year!
UNBELIEVEABLE were the umpiring decisions against Barry!
      TERRIFIC are the Lions!

I didn't see the Lions, but to be without a lot of their key players, and still pull off a win like that truely an inspiring team!

...much have the Cats turned it around....they probably will go home feeling they should have won.

        I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

Hard Running and Tackling set up there good win over a good team.

And yes Geelong would've pounded us they way they are playing now.

........Does it have anything to do with their assistant coach??

How...unlucky is it that of the 7 other teams in the top 8 currently, we have to play 5 of them again!

The Swans had one of the best records in the league last year against the top 8 teams, and people have frequently commented on how they seem to play to the level of their opposition. So if they can stay on the upward form trajectory, this might not be a bad thing at all.

In my opinion 4th spot is still up for grabs. And I dont think Port can hang in there. So its between us, the bombers, Freo, Port, and maybe a couple of others.
Its actually a good thing to play the other top 8 sides as we have to bridge 2 games and some % before the end of the year to sneak into 4th and give ourselves a shot at the flag.

Was just looking at the ladder, and I think the only position realistically not within reach is top. That doesn't worry me, because only one team in the last 8 years has won the premiership after finishing top of the ladder (Essendon 2000).

This week, if we get over the Saints (and I don't understand why there's so much fear of them, we beat Brisbane twice and Port in Adelaide last year, remember, everyone?), we can reasonably rely on Fremantle beating Melbourne, and either Brisbane or Port is going to lose in that game.

That means that we'll be only a game behind 4th. The climb starts now!
                  We hate Anthony Rocca
                  We hate Shannon Grant too
                  We hate scumbag Gaspar
