the comp is the Canberra Football League - It seems much stronger than the SFL and is very physicall. It is a good place for the youngings to have a run as it, although isnt as strong as the VFl, its cheap. But look at the young guns we have unearthed since playing there - Schneids, LRT, Bevo, Monty etc
        - Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in a world they've been given, than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact, it's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration, it's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing!

The competition is reasonably strong with Belconnen , Queanbeyan and Eastlake already beating the Swans Reserves this season. However, the Swans thrashed weak teams Weston Creek and Tuggeranong. There is a big gap between the performances of the top and bottom sides although surprisingly bottom side Weston Creek gave top side Belconnen a major fright last weekend.

In regard to crowds there is a lot of fluctation and numbers depend on which teams are playing.

PS The competition has always been physical and I well remember lining up against ex Collingwood hard man Duncan Wright who imfamously KOD behind the play Sommerville of the Bombers in a Final . Over the years Cowboy Neale, David Cloke and others have used their strength to advantage .

Thanks for the link and for the report!

I am unable to get to the earlier matches anymore and I always look forward to the reports.

Pleased the LRT had a run and that Ben Fixter got through ok...

                    Result - bugger

This is the last day game for the year in Sydney, so it could be a good opportunity to cheer on the ressies and enjoy the SCG sunshine.
