I agree with the above - what the hell is going on? About time we were treated evenly.

The plot thickens. The 4pm ABC news said that the delay was because the Swans said that they wouldn't have time to prepare Barry's defence for a hearing tonight. So it was us, not them, asking for the delay. And it sounds like the Swans are taking it seriously.
Thursday night for the appeal? Good thing it's a Sunday game.Comment

Why do they need time to plan?? How long does it take to think of "I didn't do it"Originally posted by Go Swannies

They need time to practise it in a Bart Simpson voice like in the episode where he becomes the "I didn't do it" kid.Originally posted by dawson

I'm on the Chandwagon!!!
If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

I think we may have a two part defence with lots of video. Firstly there's the "Grant dives for free" reel and, as a backup, the "look at the frees I wasn't paid" - even Jeff G agrees with that if you watch his comments on Bigpond about the jockey incident - "Barry Hall should have been paid the free". That would be mitigation. And finally the "I got punched in the head and had to leave the ground" reel.Originally posted by dawson

If Chris Grant has the character that everyone says he has then I'm now feeling more confident. Remember Paul Williams' testimony for Brodie Holland reduced his clear guilt to a mere two weeks.Comment

The riding incident and blood rule incident came AFTER the reported incident.
Doubt the Swans will use that as evidence, maybe only in asking for a fair penalty if/after he gets found guilty.Driver of the Dan Hannebery bandwagon....all aboard. 4th April 09Comment
