Footy show mentioned last night that all GA tickets were sold out for the game.

So if the members turn up (and you would have to think they will if the weather is fine) will be around the 40,000 mark.

If we get 40000 then that has to be worth a few goals, I think we have a real chance to set up the second half of season here!

GA tickets still available according to Ticketek. Single seats available in stands as well.

Wouldn't be surpised to see a big Aints crowd there though, now that they've become a religion.

well guys, when watching this weekend, look to the cheer squad at take note of all the new banners they'll be holding up.

Hubby has had to look at a photo of me this week to remember what I look like and talking to the dog for conversation. Every night since Saturday (except tonight) I've been in my back room painting away.

              Look out for:
              Hall 'Em In
              WE'VE GOT THE GOODES
              HEY JUDE
              SCG THE BROWNLOW FACTORY
              and for future weeks
SCHNEIDERMAN with a huge spider web backing it.
and much to JF's dismay, I haven't finished his PROUD SYDNEYSIDER one yet. But it will be ready for the next match.

There are also two more in production
              GO YOU GOODES THINGS
              and of course
PEBBLES YOU ROK (JF this one I'm doing for you ... for me
Hey what good am I having him as my love child, if I don't paint a banner for him)
Here's my heart and you can break it
I need some release, release, release
              We need
              Love and peace

Speaking of the ROK, does anyone talk to him...I used to go to school with the bastard and he still hasn't offered me a free corporate box for the weekend!

Bam_bam, those banners looked great. And a great crowd in there - 36,000 of them making a hell of a racket; best atmosphere for a day game at the SCG for a couple of years.

                        Yes Teal,
It certainly went off. Despite the stress of having to watch the match and try and put the signs on the sticks at the same time, they certainly added a bit of colour to things. Once we get another 10-15 people in the Cheer Squad (flogger-users needed PLEASE!), things will look excellent. THANKS A MILLION & RESPECT TO BAM BAM/TINA!!!!!!

Often the rest of the ground had already started chanting before we had got our flags down. So it was often badly out of synch; a bit like me in the shower most of the time.

But there was chanting from all parts of the ground, the O'Reilly, upstairs in the MA Noble (with Old Royboy in the midst of it all no doubt ). The SYYYYYYDNNNNNEY chant rang around the ground for the first time in yonks. TOP STUFF! That's keep that sort of atmosphere up for the Pies match, where I'll try and nab that big drum again to get the masses all chanting along in time.

What a day! Yes, the Noble stand rocked for a change, Except some goose told Grant Thomas to go and buy another packet of cornflakes when he walked off. Wonder who that was???

I thought the crowd looked like about 38,000. Noticeable that the general admission was packed, most of the empty spaces were in the stands.

The new banners looked great, but I think we need one to commemorate the maker ? BAM BAM.

I could not believe how full the old Hill was. I could not find a spare seat looking at it. And I don't think I've seen the Bill O'Reilly stand (I think this is the right one...the open air one to the right of the screen) ever that full. There was people standing at the back. Usually you only get a handful of people up there.

The waving helicopter man was also pretty cool!
