    Calling On All Supporters.....

    This came via email today....

    Sydney Swans Football Club Newsletter
    SPECIAL EDITION
    Wednesday 2 June 2004

    ================================================== ==================================

The Sydney Swans are calling on all members and supporters to get right behind
the team and help fill the SCG to capacity by turning up this Sunday from 1pm as
the Sydney Swans attempt to put a stop to the St. Kilda Saints impressive 14
    game winning streak.

Following the win over the Western Bulldogs on Saturday night, current ticket
sales indicate the crowd could be the biggest at the SCG since round 4 in 2001,
when 40,131 turned up to see the Sydney Swans take on Essendon. The SCG has an
official capacity of 43,562, but if the crowd is to get anywhere near that
figure, every Sydney member must turn up and fill their seat. If you can't make
it - give your membership card to someone who can, we need every seat full.

"It would be great to see the SCG packed full of passionate Swans supporters
this Sunday as we take on St. Kilda. It's been a while since we have had a
packed house at the SCG and it really does make a huge difference." Paul Roos

"To play in front of 70,000 people against Brisbane and Collingwood at Telstra
Stadium last year was an amazing experience, but now it's the SCG's turn to come
alive. The more supporters we can have out in force this Sunday the better. St.
Kilda are sitting undefeated on top of the ladder and it would be a huge boost
to have a capacity crowd on hand as we have a crack at stopping the Saints."
    Stuart Maxfield

All supporters are being urged to turn up in their red and white gear and be
ready to cheer the team on in full voice. The main game starts from 1.10pm with
the Swans Reserves taking on Queanbeyan from 9.50am. If you're not already a
member, sign up today by contacting the membership department on (02) 9339 9130
or purchase a ticket from Ticketek today on (02) 9266 4800 or at
www.ticketek.com.au. Bring your family and friends along for what will be the
last and biggest Sunday game of the season at the SCG.

St. Kilda are yet to loose a game this season, having taken out the Wizard Cup
Pre-season competition and then their last 10 'Home & Away' games. In the last
two rounds, they have defeated Carlton by 108 points and West Coast by 101
points, cementing their spot on top of the AFL ladder 3 games clear of the next
best teams with an amazing 165.53% record.

Help the Swans Stop the Saints and send them marching back to Melbourne! Be at
the SCG, Sunday June 6th from 1pm. Tickets are on sale now through from Ticketek
on (02) 9266 4800 or at www.ticketek.com.au. Members wishing to bring friends or
family and be seated with them should follow the following instructions:

IF YOU HAVE A RESERVED SEAT
If you have a reserved seat and you would like a friend or family member to sit
with/near you, simply phone Ticketek on 02 9266 4800 or visit a Ticketek Outlet
and they will help you identify the nearest seat/s to you available for sale. Be
sure to have your membership card on you to assist the seller with your seating
    area.

IF YOU SIT IN THE MEMBERS RESERVE (MA Noble & Lower Deck of Ladies Stand)
Guest Passes are available through by phoning Ticketek on 02 9266 4800 or
visiting a Ticketek Outlet. You must mention to the seller that you are a Sydney
Swans Member when booking and ask specifically for the "Members Reserve Guest
Pass'. Tickets to this area are limited, so book now to avoid disappointment.
    - Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in a world they've been given, than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact, it's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration, it's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing!
