The longer we wait the less optimistic I am. If they were going to throw out the charge on the basis that it was a completely bogus charge with no evidence to support it, that would only take a few minutes.

The longer they deliberate, the more likely they are to convince themselves that Bazza is the devil incarnate.

Grant statement - GOOD NEWS.

No contact to the head, conceded they were making contact with each other all night, believes Hall backed into him and made contact with neck/shoulder... probably with elbow.

Confirmed whatever contact occurred was NOT hard and he fell to the ground primarily due to shock. Contact described as a "reverse butterfly stroke" - can anyone explain what that means?

Not necessaringly for this case, as they have no vision they will take their time interviewing each player, close by players and umpires to try and get the full picture that way.

No, this is the tribunal remember? They could still decide that they don't believe Grant and suspend Hall for 3 weeks "on the balance of probabilities"...

It sounds to me like it means that he threw his arm backward

Problem is they expect Grant to say something like this, however there is still a good chance that they will say that Hall obviously did make contact, off the ball and with force, hence 1-2 weeks. Have a look at Jonathan Brown - his contact was made with the inside of his upper arm and he was suspended.

What got Jonathan Brown was the swinging motion, if you take Grants evidence Barry was standing in front of Grant jostling for front position and has pushed his body and shoulders back into Grant to off balance him. Grant not expecting this feels the force on his neck and goes down.

At best a high illegal shepherd worth a free kick.

Yeah they did say that Grant said it was not an elbow,but was still enough force to put him down.

I think he'll get 2 weeks going by J Brown's incident and Bazza's recoed.

2ue Sports commentator Peter Boxley - said if Hall gets booked the umpires don't give Hall a fair go but so does the Tribunal not give him a fair go.
My problem is Demetriou said on Ten Syd news - Grant is a great person and I believe what he says - what does he mean - I am hoping it is not all locked up?

Based on the evidence Grant gave that is good news as the tribunal will now beleive that and give a not guilty verdict.

Well you have a good point there - if Kerr keeps getting off for contacting the head, then why not Hall for contacting the body.
