Big Crowd: Tickets Still Available

Sunday?s clash between the Sydney Swans and the all-conquering St Kilda is on target to deliver the biggest crowd to the SCG in more than three years with tickets sales being extremely strong all week.
It was back in round 4, 2001 when the Sydney Swans clashed with Essendon that the last crowd of more than 40,000 attended a Sydney Swans game at the SCG. There were 40,131 at the ground that day and in 34 games since then the biggest Sydney Swans crowd at the SCG was 34,473 for the Sydney Swans v Hawthorn game in round 19 last year.
Taking into account the strong ticket sales, combined with corporate hospitality being sold out Sydney Swans Membership & Ticketing Manager Paul Grzanka is anticipating a crowd in excess of 35,000.
?There are still plenty of tickets available, they are selling quickly, but in saying that there will still be some tickets available at the gate on game day, ? Mr Grzanka said.
?We are urging all our Sydney Swans members and SCG members to show their support by getting there on Sunday, and considering the sales trend this week we are certainly in for a bumper crowd.
?With that being the case we are also mindful of reminding everyone who is attending to get there early as other activities in the SCG/Moore Park area will certainly impact on parking and travel.?
Tickets are still available at Ticketek on 02 9266 4800 or at www.ticketek.com.au. If not sold out, tickets will also go on sale at the SCG ticket outlet on Sunday from 9.30am on Driver Avenue.
